A story of respect and good doing
In the Manchuela, more exactly on the Cuenca side, an area of immense extensions of vineyard, dominated by the local bobal variety, a winery-farming house was built in 1956 when the vineyard started to gain ground and protagonism to the sowing. There was already a strong belief in the vine-growing potencial of these lands, which combine clay and cobblestone from the depths, with the sand of the hills.
It is there, in Carril Cruzado, the name of the path which flows througt the ancestral home, and which gives its name to our wines, where the vineyards raised in spalier has substituted the traditional vine, and where different varieties such as cabernet sauvignon, syrah, merlot, petit verdot, and of course the local variety, cencibel (tempranillo) have perfectly adapted.
50 hectares form the property that, like a carpet, surround the ancient farming house, settlement of the presents installations, which have hardly been modified and continue having the same welcoming and rustic character.
